Consortium Agreement

A consortium agreement is a contract between the student, the host institution, and The University of Alabama. This agreement allows The University of Alabama to process Federal Student Aid for the student while taking courses at another university.

The consortium agreement form is available from the Office of Student Financial Aid. The student should complete the student section and forward the consortium agreement to his/her Academic Advisor for approval and return to Student Financial Aid for processing. Student Financial Aid will process and administer all financial aid for the student in accordance with its policies and procedures, and the host institution agrees not to provide financial aid to the student registered under this agreement. Financial aid will be disbursed to the host institution. The student will receive any unused portions as a refund.
